Lucy Bronze included in England's Women's World Cup squad
A few days after the host nation of France announced its 23-player squad for this summer's Women's World Cup, it was England's turn to add another Olympique Lyonnais player into the mix. On Wednesday, Lionesses head coach Phil Neville named Lucy Bronze in his team. Unfortunately, Izzy Christiansen, currently recovering from injury, missed out on the cut.
Bronze is the ninth OL player who's been confirmed for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019™, which will take place in France from June 7th to July 7th. She follows in the footsteps of Bouhaddi, Renard, Mbock, Majri, Henry , Le Sommer, Cascarino and Laurent - all included in the French roster. Meanwhile, we still await the rosters of Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada and Argentina.
