Bruno Genesio : « On fait le jeu mais on encaisse trop de buts évitables »
Lyon's coach and his players spoke to OLTV after Sunday's 2-2 draw with Lille.

Bruno Genesio

"We're disappointed, we wanted to get closer to Lille. Disappointed to take only one point even if the result is not illogical. Lille were super efficient taking advantage of our mistakes, but we managed to come back against the best defense in the league. We play our game, we score goals but we concede too many avoidable goals. We have to focus on our remaining games and secure third place. We tried to score a third goal, we had situations but we failed to convert. The content as a whole is good... It's hard to score three or four goals to win a game."

Léo Dubois

"It was an even match. We knew how to create a lot of chances. We're proud to come back, so it's positive. We managed to contain their counterattacks despite the defensive mistakes. The goal was to still have our destiny in our hands, which we do. We must keep this state of mind. We managed to jostle them by going forward a lot. The ball came to me... I was able to get the shot on frame, so that's good. As for the goal conceded, I lost view of the ball, I was caught by surprise, it's part of the game. We must focus on Marseille now and go to win. We will discuss things, we'll try to solve our mistakes and go to Marseille with this state of mind and I don't think we'll have a problem winning."

Anthony Lopes

"We are disappointed, we really wanted to win this game. It's tough giving away two goals like that. This season we have conceded too many goals to hope for anything better. We had a nice first period, we started the second badly... We've had our destiny in our hands since the beginning of the season. There's still everything to play for until the last match of the season. We will have to win three out of three. We know we have to play a great game next weekend."

Martin Terrier

"I planned on not celebrating, it's a question of respect for this club that gave me a lot. We were hoping for a win but we minimized our losses with the point from the draw. We have a big match awaiting us next week in Marseille and we will have to give a good performance. I'm playing week in and week out, it feels good. My teammates put me at ease and I hope this continues."
