Memphis: "OL made me grow as a person"
Sunday's high-stakes showdown with Lille
"It's an important match for us. I trust my team. A win is essential for the club to qualify for the Champions League. We know what we have to do... We know their quality. We will still study our opponent. You have to be wary. They have dangerous and fast players. We respect them, but we will see where we can hurt them."
OL back on track
"We became aware of what we had to do in order to win. We need 11 motivated players on the pitch, but also on the bench. When we realize that we need everyone to succeed, that's when we can talk about a trophy, a final. These last matches will be a fight."
The final run-in
"It's not just thanks to me that we had a very good end of the season last year. It was a collective effort. I scored goals, so much the better. I have to stay focused to keep worrying our opponents. We worked well this week and we have to stick together."
His role on the pitch
"I feel comfortable in this system. I can play several positions in attack. I feel fit. My teammates know how to get the ball to me."
"I have mixed feelings. I've scored fewer goals this season. I have scored some nice goals this season and I've delivered several assists... You can't compare between club and national team. Both teams have completely different mindsets. I do everything I can in the national team. My stats are a little worse at the club level. We need to analyze that. There are many young talented players here. The Netherlands is more stable with older players."
"I have a contract at OL. I have to be careful because you are used to twisting what I say. I'm not worried about my future. I'm focused on Sunday's match. Talking about this topic put me in complicated situation with the fans. I won't answer that question... There never was a fight with Ferland Mendy, and people still believe you. I'm very happy playing here. Every morning I go to work for a big club, in a beautiful stadium. I am confident in this city. People think the opposite because of what they read. OL made me grow as a person."
Bruno Genesio's decision
"There's no need to talk about the new coach. It would be disrespectful to the [current] coach. We have a season to finish. It's a trap question... My relationship with him is very positive. There have been many situations that have been reported in the press that never happened. He gave me his chance. I needed to prove myself when I arrived from Manchester, I needed confidence. The president and the coach gave it to me. It went well. There have been good times and bad times, but we have a great team. Bruno Genesio still has some good things to do in his career."
