Lyon's head coach previewed Sunday's highly-anticipated L1 showdown between second and third place at Groupama Stadium.

Injury report

"Everyone has been operational since the beginning of the week."

Sunday's game vs. Lille

"We've got a team that has rallied together to achieve an end-of-the-season goal... We're facing an opponent that's full of confidence. We will see if we have completely recovered. It's a fight for the podium. A victory could revive the end of the championship for second place even if they have a favorable goal average. This would allow us to move towards our goal. Anything is possible in football. Lille can still be caught... But it's science fiction for the moment. Taking these three points could undermine Lille's confidence."

Christophe Galtier

"There's a lot of respect between us. We've worked together. He is a high-quality coach. He took over a struggling team and he was able to save it. It's good to highlight the good work of French coaches. He is able to motivate his group, to work in the long term, which is never easy. It will be a pleasure to face him. We'll have to beat him on Sunday."

The away leg at Lille

"There are regrets, as in other matches... Lille exploited our weaknesses. Credit to us for having the courage to come back and tie the game [2-2]. There are more regrets from this season, especially against the poorly-ranked teams. This team should not be underestimated. It's a balanced workforce, there's quality, it's well built. I'm not surprised to see them at this level."

Attacking options

"There is a good state of mind in the squad... Memphis blossoms in his role of free striker. He's a handful to deal with, as are Nabil Fekir, Moussa Dembélé. It's a good puzzle. There are technical leaders who are capable of taking charge".

His Trophées UNFP nomination

"It's the coaches who've voted... I am pleased that the other coaches think I did a good job."
