Some 22,911 fans jammed into Groupama Stadium to watch Lyon's 2-1 semifinal first leg win.

A week after breaking the attendance record for a women's football match in France (25,907 spectators), Groupama Stadium is now shining on the European stage. Sunday's Women's Champions League semifinal first leg against Chelsea attracted the largest-ever crowd for the tournament, barring the final, with 22,911 fans in attendance. Reynald Pedros and his players were up to the circumstances and put in a gutsy performance to earn a 2-1 win ahead of next week's decider in England.
