Reynald Pedros : « On savait que ce serait un match compliqué »
Lyon's coach and his players spoke to OLTV following Sunday's 2-1 win over Chelsea in the Women's Champions League semifinal first leg.

Reynald Pedros

"We're satisfied. We knew it would be a tough match. Everything didn't go as expected. We're up a goal, which is important. We are one of those teams that can score a lot of goals away from home. We lost control middle and had trouble getting the ball out. We made some defensive mistakes. We'll have to correct this for the return leg. It'll be the same type of match... We'll need to play a great match... The fans came out and were involved. It's good. We must continue. There is a great atmosphere, it's a great adventure... Wednesday we have the chance to become champions against Dijon. It's up to us to do what needs to be done."

Wendie Renard

"It's a beautiful victory. We didn't do all that was necessary today. There was too much waste... We lost the ball too fast. It's good to have won against a good team. Chelsea have a quality group. We didn't take them lightly. We have to do better, put more pace and have less waste in order to score more goals. It will be tough in London."

Delphine Cascarino

"We wanted to score a third goal to free ourselves completely. The victory is still there. Both teams went all out and never let up. We'll do what's needed in the second leg to get to the final. We'll go to London to win."

Sarah Bouhaddi

"I watched the player on the penalty kick. It worked out for me today. We knew they were a good team. We had to be serious. We conceded a goal, but that doesn't mean anything for the return match. We will try to recover well."

Selma Bacha

"There was a lot of commitment. We won the first round. Next week is round two. The fans give us a lot of strength. We can count on them."
