Nabil Fekir : « Se mettre au service de l’équipe »
Lyon's captain took questions from the media ahead of Friday's game against Angers at Groupama Stadium.

The coach's announcement

"It didn't change much. These are never good times. We haven't forgotten that we have a goal for the end of the season. I don't know if we needed that for a reaction. Everyone is aware that this is an important period. Everyone must be concerned and put themselves at the service of the team."

A difficult period

"We've lost three in a row, but there are still six games left. We remain confident. The crowd was tough two weeks ago. We will need our fans tomorrow. We have to put in rhythm, play our game... We're working well in training to end this slide".

On the bench against Nantes

"I'm not doing well right now. The coach decided to leave me on the bench. No, I don't have an explanation for my current form. It's football. I talked about it with the coach. Bruno knows what I think of him. None of the critics affect me. I accept them... I have to play my game."

Fight for the podium

"We're not afraid of losing third place. We will do everything to win tomorrow and maintain the gap. Qualifying for the Champions League is important for everyone: the club, the players, the fans. There is a lot of participation in training. We talked to each other and we know it's important."

Coupe de France loss against Rennes

"It's the loss that hurt the group the most. It was a big disappointment, especially in front of our fans. We must now turn the page."

His future

"There's nothing new. I have one more year on my contract. Negotiations haven't advanced. But that's not the most important thing today."
