Jean-Michel Aulas: "Don't hang your head"
"It's been a terrible week. The results have been unfavorable to us. The context and the environment of the match were hateful. We are asking questions... It was a peculiar match, with many opposing facts: two goals against us that came off deflections, a penalty not called for us while VAR showed that there was a hand ball. This is a situation we were hoping to avoid... The players wanted to give their all, but they couldn't. We're still in the top three, which is why the crowd's reaction is incomprehensible. We want to participate again in the Champions League and we have to win matches in order to do that. If I as the businessman don't make the right decisions, the institution and the fans will be penalized. We must accept bad luck, lack of success. The players didn't work against themselves, as others did in the stands or in the media. There are seven games left, we will face Lille. We must see what LOSC do tomorrow, but we must look ahead... It's my responsibility to reach our goals. Above all, don't hang your head or shoot yourself in the foot - otherwise it becomes insurmountable, as was the case tonight."
