Stephan Lerch : « Dans le rôle d'outsider mais avec le plein de confiance »
Wolfsburg's manager spoke to the media on the eve of Wednesday's Women's Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Olympique Lyonnais.

Stephan Lerch

"It's a remake of the final, but this time over two rounds. It's a very important game for both teams. We all can't wait to play this game. Women's football can only come out bigger if both teams play at their level. We already know Groupama Stadium. It's very special for each player to enter such a stadium. All the players want to be here... OL are a very good team, and they made some key signing over the summer. There is quality in every area. OL are favorites, we come here in the role of outsider but with total confidence. It's up to us to adapt to this team. We have improved compared to last season, we have learned our lessons. We have shown beautiful things in the Champions League. We are in a good period right now. We kept our staff, so we're playing better and better together... We are also more united in the game and on the pitch. There is a better mentality ... Jakabfi and Dickenmann are not available for the match tomorrow... Dzsenifer Marozsan? She is a superb player, she is unique with a very good vision of the game. She also scores a lot of goals. We are happy to have her with us on the German national team."
