Four days after qualifying for the Coupe de France semifinal with a 3-1 win over Caen, OL put on an even more impressive display Sunday evening at Groupama Stadium by routing Toulouse, 5-1, in their return to Ligue 1 Conforama action. With captain Nabil Fekir back in the fold after a three-game absence, Les Gones launched early attacks into enemy territory and quickly took the lead on a lovely curling effort from Memphis, (10 ', 1-0) who made it two goals in as many matches. But Les Violets responded quickly, taking advantage of a defensive slip-up from Ferland Mendy to even the score through Matthieu Dossevi (15 ', 1-1). Things wouldn't stay level for long, however. At the half-hour mark, Bertrand Traoré's cross into the box went completely untouched and passed the outstretched arms of keeper Baptiste Reynet to put the home side (30 ', 2-1) back in front. Just five minutes later, Fekir converted from the penalty spot (35 ', 3-1) to restore the two-goal cushion.

After the break, Moussa Dembélé made up for some missed chances in the first half and took charge by scoring two goals in a three-minute span. First, the former Celtic striker got the ball in midfield, outran his markers all the way to the penalty area and beat Reynet with a nice finish (67 ', 4-1). Then, OL's top scorer this season reached 13 goals in all competitions by slotting home a perfect cross from Fekir. Traore flirted with a brace himself, only for a controversial VAR decision to overrule his stunning goal. But by that time nothing could ruin a Lyon's spectacular evening. A 5-1 rout at home - the perfect way to begin what's set to be a crucial month of March.

With his 35th-minute penalty, Nabil Fekir became the top all-time scorer at Groupama Stadium with 31 goals. OL's captain established the new record with his ninth goal in Ligue 1 Conforama this season. The French World Cup champions is now ahead of former Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette, who found the back of the net 30 times at the Décines arena.
