Jason Denayer on OL Access: "We're getting closer to our goal"
Semifinal-bound in the Coupe de France
"This is a qualification that is extremely enjoyable. We wanted it. The Coupe de France is a competition that is close to our hearts. With this qualification, we are getting closer to our goal. We work for that. We were happy in the locker room... The draw? It will be a tough match. There are no preferences."
His goal vs. Caen
"I saw that the keeper was just to my right. I knew that there was no one left in goal when I picked up the ball. Personally speaking, the goal was a plus. It was important to score fast enough to materialize our dominance. A quick goal changes a match. Caen didn't have many opportunities. We controlled the match."
A drought-ending goal for Memphis
"He is a high-quality player. The whole team was happy for his goal after all the criticism he was the target of."
The return leg vs. Barcelone
"We're waiting for this match. We got a good result at home even though we could've done a lot better. It's up to us to give everything at the Camp Nou."
His first season with OL
"They gave me a warm welcome. It made my job easier. Everyone helped me a lot. I speak French so it was a little easier for me... Signing for the club? Everything happened very quickly. I was at the hotel in Manchester. My agent told me that OL wanted me and that it had to be done quickly. I was on a flight the next day. Everything is going very well for me here."
"I rarely read the press. I look a little bit on my phone, but that's it. It doesn't really interest me. Things change quickly from one side to the other."
