Olympique Lyonnais brought Paris Saint-Germain down to earth Sunday night at Groupama Stadium, handing the Ligue 1 Conforama leaders their first loss of the season thanks to a 2-1 decision on goals from Moussa Dembélé and Nabil Fekir, from the penalty spot, that canceled out Angel Di Maria's opener early in the match.

Les Gones came from behind to win their third straight game in all competitions, as well as their second in a row at home against a Paris squad that was without the injured Neymar. Nonetheless, the visitors drew first blood after a Houssem Aouar giveaway enabled Di Maria to beat Lopes with a classy finish to the far post (7 ', 0 -1). This goal served as a wake-up notice for OL, who immediately put men forward in search of a reaction. The chances soon came fast and furious, but Alphonse Areola was stellar in goal to deny the likes of Bertrand Traore, Memphis and Dembélé. Eventually however, PSG's keeper would commit a blunder by misreading Léo Dubois' cross into the box, allowing Dembélé to head in the equalizer (33 ', 1-1).

And if Lyon came out rusty early in the first half, it was the complete opposite after the halftime break, with Dembélé being brought down by Thiago Silva inside the box to earn a penalty that was converted by Fekir with a perfect finish (49 ', 2-1). Kylian Mbappé led the charge for PSG, only to be thwarted time and time again by Lopes in goal.

In the end, OL  showed the rest of L1 how it's done by defeating the previously unbeaten PSG and getting revenge for their ugly loss at the Parc des Princes earlier in the season. A huge statement by Bruno Genesio's men and three massive points that allow them to keep pace with second-place LOSC.

Groupama Stadium is home sweet home for the captain. With his second-half penalty, Nabil Fekir equalled Alexandre Lacazette as the top scorer at Groupama Stadium, with 29 goals. The 25-year-old midfielder achieved the feat in 62 official matches at OL's stadium.
