Bruno Genesio : « on savait qu’on était capables de les battre »
Lyon's coach and president Jean-Michel Aulas spoke to OLTV after Sunday's 2-1 win over PSG.

Jean-Michel Aulas

"Paris have a great team. They were undefeated. This is a fantastic victory for us. It happened in a particularly difficult scenario. We are really happy with the result and the three points. We remain in the race and it's great preparation for a high-flying Barcelona team. We need to advance [in the Coupe de France] on Thursday in order for it to be a good week. The players were convinced by Bruno that they were capable of this performance. We must continue this way. Football is a school of humility, you have to keep your head on straight. We want to win a title and finish second [in the league]."

Bruno Genesio

"There are a lot of emotions after a match like this. Antho (Lopes) was decisive in key moments... There has been real progression, we're defending better... The game plan was simple but it had to be done on the pitch. We decided to pressure them high up. There is a lot of exposure to playing this way, but the chances are you'll win, like we did tonight. We have talented players who can create danger from all over the pitch. We've scored less than last season, but we've created more chances. Moussa (Dembélé) is full of confidence right now, which weighs heavily on the opposing team... We knew we could beat them."
