OL's physical trainer explained how Les Gones will work during their three-day stay in Spain.

Training camp plans

"There will be two trainings per day on Wednesday and Thursday and one on Friday morning before heading back to Lyon. The morning work will be devoted to prevention, muscle conditioning and athletic work. Afternoons will consist of tactical work and inter-squad matches. A training camp makes it possible to have the players at our disposal, as well as controlling nutrition and sleep. It's also possible to train twice a day without the constraints that there may be in Lyon dye to traveling."

Training camp goals

"We have a very short preparation time this season, even less than others years. The goal will be to help the players get their rhythm back as quickly as possible and prepare them for Saturday night's Coupe de France competition. We can no longer speak of a second preparation, as was the case at one time. The goal now is clearly to focus on the athletic, technical and tactical aspects that players are used to doing in competition."

Returning to Murcia

"Last year we were very satisfied with our training camp Murcia. The conditions were ideal conditions for working in terms of facilities, hotels, training grounds and climate. It's  always interesting to benefit from this type of weather this time of year. It's a real plus for the preparation."
