Bruno Genesio: "We have to be more demanding of ourselves"
"I don't like how the match ended. We must respect the opponent and if we want to go further, higher [in the tournament] we must be more demanding of ourselves. Otherwise, we're set for some big disappointments. It's not normal to go from being up 3-0 to 3-2 with an extra man on the pitch. It's necessary to correct this very quickly, before Saturday's match against Montpellier... I'm satisfied that we qualified and with a good part of the match. There are players who have shown that they have talent to express themselves in this team. This is a positive point. There have been very good things from offensive players, including Dembélé, Traore and Terrier... We need to finish well in Montpellier in order to be fully satisfied with the beginning of the season."
"We were doing well until Amiens got their first goal. We relaxed. It's a shame... We suffered a bit of a scare... I felt good. I'm, happy to continue this adventure in the Coupe de la Ligue."
🎙️ Mathieu Gorgelin: "We played 60 good minutes. It's a shame to ruin the end of the match. I felt good, it's been four months since I played. I'm happy to advance [in the tournament]." #ASCOL pic.twitter.com/ZQpSu6xyY4— OL English (@OL_English) December 19, 2018
"It was a bit scary in the end, we can't lose control of a match like that. We should have made the score even bigger. The most important thing is that we qualified. It feels good to play, to have fun on the pitch. I'm very happy. You have to be patient and I had an injury that slowed me down a bit."
"I'm very happy to have made my pro debut. I felt good. My teammates trusted me, I got involved quickly in the game... We often work this system with three defenders, I adapted. I don't intend to stop here, we need to carry on."
"We can be satisfied about qualifying. It was a good game for the most part, but we relaxed. The second goal we conceded was avoidable. There is a bit of bitterness... We're expecting a very combative team on Saturday in Montpellier."
