OL Fondation : les Hospices Civils de Lyon mis à l’honneur lors du match OL-Rennes au Groupama Stadium
The kickoff prior to Wednesday's match at Groupama Stadium was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first heart transplant and the 30th anniversary of the first lung transplant that took place at the Louis-Pradel cardiovascular hospital in Bron.

For the special occasion, Serge Rochet, the oldest heart transplant recipient, and Olivier Olivar, double lung transplant patient, both of whom were treated Louis-Pradel Hospital, had an extraordinary experience at the center circle as both teams and the Groupama Stadium showered them with applause before kickoff.

The Louis-Pradel cardiovascular hospital in Bron is the only medical center in the Lyon region that performs this type of procedure. Thanks to its commitment, more than 70 patients receive heart and lung transplants every year in Lyon.
