Bruno Genesio : « Si on est capables de le faire contre City… »
Lyon's coach and his players spoke to OLTV after Tuesday's Champions League draw with Manchester City.

Bruno Genesio

"I just want to congratulate the players for their performance. We lost a bit of concentration after scoring the second goal, there's nothing more to say. We still have every chance to qualify. You have to be able to play this kind of game nine times out of 10. If we can do this against City, we can do it against any team. It's a big source of satisfaction... We knew we had to score a lot of goals in order to win... We're in a good position. We will prepare well for the match in Ukraine."

"We can be proud of ourselves. We had a lot of chances. We played very well today. I wonder why we don't play like this all the time. We will have to qualify in Ukraine."

Anthony Lopes

"There is some disappointment. The performance we put together was extraordinary. We must keep playing as consistently as we did tonight. We conceded two goals on two free kicks... We'll have to qualify in Ukraine. We will put ourselves in the best possible position."

Houssem Aouar

"We are a little disappointed not to have been able to maintain our lead. But we are also proud of what we did against one of the best teams in Europe."

Grégory Coupet

"We have third place guaranteed, which is important. It would have been deserved had we qualified tonight. The preparation was optimal... this is very high-level Champions League football. We must still be better and score more goals when we have the chances. There was a nice atmosphere tonight... There was a lot of quality on the pitch tonight."

Gérard Houiller

"City were in unbelievable form before this game. But there are some regrets about how the match ended. We conceded avoidable goals. We played our chances with a lot of technical talent. We could have done better to score in the first half. It's still a good result."
