THE MATCH.

A week after conceded a home draw to Bordeaux (1-1) and three days after doing the same in the Champions League against Hoffenheim (2-2), Lyon got back to winning ways Saturday evening at Guingamp. But it was far from an easy three points against the Ligue 1 basement dwellers who had just changed coaches and have the worst offense and defense in the league. Despite all that, Bruno Genesio's men suffered in the first half, showing next to nothing in attack and going down in the scoreboard on Marcus Thuram's header (21 ', 1-0).

OL did a complete 180 in the second half, thanks in large part to Memphis. The Dutchman linked up with Houssem Aouar in the tying goal (62 ', 1-1), with the young French midfielder returning him the favor six minutes later to help put the visitors ahead (67 ', 1-2). But Memphis still had more in him: specifically a brilliant, highlight-reel free kick (73', 1-3) that increased the lead for Les Gones. Thuram would pull one back for the home side from the penalty spot (79 ', 2-3), but any hopes for a Guingamp comeback quickly evaporated when second-half sub Maxwel Cornet put the game away (83 ', 2-4) off yet another Memphis assist.

. THE STAT .

6

The number of games OL have gone unbeaten in all competitions. Since their 5-0 drubbing at the Parc des Princes, Lyon have notched at least one point in  all their matches  (3 wins and 3 draws). Saturday's 4-2 result is also Les Gones'  highest scoreline ever at the Stade de Roudourou.
