Ferland Mendy : « On s’est tous remis en cause pour bien repartir »
Lyon's left back spoke to the media Wednesday afternoon to preview Friday's match vs. Nîmes - the team's first since their lopsided loss to PSG before the international break.

Inconsistent results

"This has been going on since last season...  We're working to fix it. We'll see if we can straighten it out in the next matches... I'm not worried. We will take the maximum points possible to catch up to the teams in the top of the standings."

The loss to Paris

"We played a good first half but didn't score any goals. Maybe we should've sat back and put more men behind the ball after conceding the second and third goals. There was too much space in the back. We all want to start off well against Nimes... The best thing is to move on. We were disappointed because the score doesn't reflect the match that we played."

His current form

"I must improve tactically. I will do everything possible to work on that ... I have made improvements in some areas. You can't fix everything in a year."

Thoughts on Nîmes

"They're a team that will play defensively. I already faced them in Ligue 2. They never give up and they give their all. It will be a tough match. They will play the counterattack."
