Nat 2 : l'OL prend la place de dauphin après son succès à l'Athlético Marseille (0-3)
Late goals from Theo Ndicka, Thomas Oualembo and Lenny Pintor gave Lyon's reserves all three points away from home.

With three goals in the final ten minutes, the OL reserves earned a 3-0 win at Athlético Marseille Saturday to move into second place in Group A of the Championnat National 2.

Featuring five players (Melvin Bard, Oumar Solet, Paul Devarrewaere, Maxence Caqueret, Lenny Pintor) who featured in the midweek, 4-1 win over Manchester City in the UEFA Youth League, Lyon controlled the majority of the match but were only able to break through in the latter stages.

Seven minutes before time, second-half substitute Theo Ndicka finally broke the deadlock after finishing off a pass from Caqueret. The visitors got a pair of insurance goals in extra time from fellow sub Thomas Oualembo and Lenny Pintor, who scored for the third straight game.

Christian Bassila's verdict

We are happy with the result. That's what we came for. We are satisfied with team's mentality as well. There is still room for improvement. We must be able to score much earlier, play with more intensity and be more consistent. We must be demanding at OL.
