Close up: OL Women in America
The OL Women officially kicked off their 2018-19 preseason with a week-long trip to the United States over the summer. Reynald Pedros' squad visited Miami at the end of July to participate in the inaugural Women's International Champions Cup.
At the same time, thanks to an initiative from Génération Adidas International, some twenty American trainees, aged 16 and 17, spent a week at the OL Academy in Meyzieu. These players, selected for their performances and their commitment to football, took advantage of their time with Lyon trainers and got to discover Groupama Stadium, which will host the semifinals and final of the Women's World Cup in July.
