Two weeks thrashing Lille (0-8) in their season opener, the OL Women made their home debut Saturday at the Groupama OL Training Center, where they kept the good times going with a 4-0 win over Soyaux. With captain Wendie Renard back in the Starting XI after overcoming an injury, Lyon quickly took the lead when Ada Hegerberg slotted home a cross from Amel Majri (5', 1-0). Majri went from creator to scorer and doubled the home side's lead from the penalty spot (33 ', 2-0). Shortly after the break, the game's star added to the scoreline and bagged herself a brace with a nifty, right-footed finish from close range (57 ', 3-0). In the final minutes, Griedge Mbock put the finishing touches on a second straight commanding performance (84 ', 4-0). A great way to debut in front of the home fans and to prepare for Wednesday's Women's Champions League opener vs. Avaldsnes of Norway.
