Jean-Michel Aulas : « l’Olympique Lyonnais s’est montré digne »
Lyon's president, head coach Reynald Pedros and his players spoke with OLTV following the OL Women's team's 4-0 win over Soyaux on Saturday.

Jean-Michel Aulas

Olympique Lyonnais have shown themselves worthy. High-quality infrastructure, a very good pitch, a large and friendly public ... We saw a good Soyaux team resist Lyon. We've got all our international players back. It is an advantage, but it's also a disadvantage when they have so many matches involving their national teams, the domestic league and the European Cup. There is some fatigue. It's clear that women's football is improving. Lyon are at the forefront, but we must make everyone want to achieve the same things. It isn't easy. We will fight and continue to invest to remain at the highest level. We tried to sign another player. For now we've been unsuccessful. It's an extremely difficult operation. She currently plays in the United States. There is nothing done.

Reynald Pedros

We were wasteful, especially in the first half... We're coming out of an international break. Everybody came back very late. We must do better, although it's still a good result. We didn't concede any goals.

Amel Majri

It's a plus to play higher up in attack. It allows me to express myself. I am efficient. Everything came together for us to have a good match. The conditions were perfect and we were able to respond today.

Ada Hegerberg

It's tough playing against such a defensive team... There are small things to fix. You have to work. There weren't a lot of spaces.

Griedge Mbock

We're satisfied. We wanted to perform well in front of our fans. It was our first game at home. We could have scored more... We sometimes got a little too ahead of ourselves. It's always a pleasure to score.
