OL sign Jason Denayer from Manchester City on four-year deal

Denayer, 23, came through the JMG Academy in his native Belgium and has eight national team caps, having participated in the Euro 2016 tournament in France with the Red Devils.
Born to a Congolese mother and Belgian father, the defender signed his first and only professional contract at Manchester City in 2013. A year later, in 2014-15, he moved on loan to Celtic, winning the Scottish championship before having additional loan spells with Galatasaray and Sunderland. Last season he enjoyed another loan spell at Galatasaray, winning the Turkish league title in the process.
He’s played a total of 92 league games, scoring five goals, and 13 European Cup matches - including five in the Champions League with Galatasaray and Celtic.
With the arrival of Jason Denayer, an experienced central defender, Olympique Lyonnais continue to take positive steps towards achieving their sporting goals.
