OL – VfL Wolfsburg : une prestation inégale mais pleine de promesses (2-1)
Lyon got back to preseason winning ways with a 2-1 victory over the Bundesliga side thanks to goals from Bertrand Traoré and Martin Terrier.

1'. Kickoff
3'. Tousart's attempt is saved by VfL's keeper.
17'. Aouar's shot/cross is deflected by Terrier and lands at the feet of Traoré, who slots it home. 1-0.
28'. Aouar connects a header just wide of the frame.
31'. Memphis breaks free on the right side and serves it up for Traoré, who shoots off target.
36'. Terrier doubles the lead with a first-time shot off a Memphis corner kick. 2-0.
56'. Great save by Gorgelin to keep Malli off the scoreboard.
67'. Arnold pulls one back for Wolfsburg. 2-1.

After a mid-week defeat to Huddersfield (3-1), Lyon were keen to get their preseason back on track against Wolfsburg of Germany. While far from a perfect performance, Bruno Genesio's men showed enough improvement to pull off a deserved 2-1 win on goals from Bertrand Traore (17 ', 1-0) and Martin Terrier (36', 2-0). Playing in Bourg-en-Bresse, Les Gones came out strong out of the gate, creating numerous chances that gave them a two-goal lead into the break. But their grip on the match loosened somewhat in the second half.

Specifically, OL lost possession of the ball and allowed the Bundesliga side to get men up front and threaten Gorgelin's goal with increasing frequency. It was only a matter of time before Arnold pulled one back for Wolfsburg (67 ', 2-1). But Lyon were able to make their lead hold and get the win, improving their preseason record to 2-1-1. Now it's on to the International Champions Cup... the final test before the 2018-19 campaign
