Féminines : L’internationale anglaise Isobel Christiansen s’engage avec l’OL jusqu’en 2020
OL’s women’s team has completed the signing of English international Isobel “Izzy” Christiansen from Manchester City.
After finalizing her deal, Christiansen then flew out with her new teammates to Miami to participate in the first annual Women’s International Champions Cup preseason tournament along with former club Man City, Paris Saint-Germain and the North Carolina Courage.

She becomes the third foreign signing by Lyon this season, following German internationals Lisa Weiss and Carolin Simon, and joins her English compatriot Lucy Bronze in Lyon - a team she faced twice in the past two seasons, both times in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Christiansen, who was named the PFA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year during the 2015-16 season, has also won a league title (FAWSL), two FA Cups and two FAW SL Cups.

Isobel Christiansen on signing with Olympique Lyonnais:
"I’m very happy to sign with OL. I can’t wait to start with my new team. It’s a great club, champion of France and Europe, that has been consistently successful. I’m very proud to join this club. I'm good friends with Lucy Bronze, she's a great player. I’m happy to be reunited with her here. I came to OL to win titles, progress as a player, and have fun."
