Jean-Michel Aulas : « It's an unexpected, incomprehensible decision ... and a huge blow »

Lyon's president reacted to the FFF appeal commission's recent decision in an interview with OLTV.

Jean-Michel Aulas
« This is a big surprise. I never imagined that a commission could judge a commission’s earlier decision. We are legitimists. I decided not to go to the commission out of respect. We did not appeal. The result is incomprehensible. The club that did appeal appealed got the club that didn’t appeal punished. It's really an unexpected decision. The crux of our defense has been decimated. It’s really a huge blow for us… We will keep our dignity and analyze this decision. We will go to Strasbourg with everything we have. There’s always the possibility of appealing but the appeal is not suspensive. We will accept it. What motive would OL have to cause trouble after a match they had already won on the pitch? Those who know will judge. I am very disappointed and surprised.»
