The Lyon striker spoke to the media to preview Sunday's showdown with Monaco and discuss his return from injury.

His current form

« As a competitor, you want to play every match. I was sidelined with injury, which was a shame for me. I’ve come back strong. I'm happy to train every day with my teammates. »

Sunday's match vs. Monaco

« We’re going there to win. We can do it if we play the same way we did against Monaco earlier this season. I had the chance to play with Falcao in Chelsea. I know his qualities and he is one of the best strikers in the world. He is back to his best form. Hopefully he doesn’t have a good game against us. »

Stepping it up in big matches

« This is due to our state of mind. We have a good group working together. We work as a team and in the big games it's the group that makes the difference… We do also have a lot of individual talent. There is more pressure against the big teams because they are direct opponents. »

Last week's setback at Bordeaux

« It's a game to forget. We're not looking for any excuses. You have to be honest with yourself. We did not start the match well. We did not give our usual performance. You can’t play great matches all the time during the course of a season. We must accept it, get back to work and come back stronger. »
