OL-Ajax: B. Traoré: ‘We’ve come here with confidence but also with our eyes open’

Ajax coach, Peter Bosz, and his forward, Bertrand Traoré, were in the press room at the Parc OL a few moments before taking to the field.

Peter Bosz, coach de l’Ajax

“Every match is different. We mustn’t think about the scenario in the match against Schalke. The whistles and the situation should motivate us all the more. We’ll try to score. We want to play our game, the one we’ve played every time. These are my instructions for tomorrow. The statistics show that we don’t concede many goals. We’re ready… it’s understandable that the Ol president says that they can pull the feat off. I totally understand… We have a very young team but we’ve acquired some experience on the European stage this season. I’m spoilt for choice tomorrow because there are some players coming back from injury and suspension. It’’s always better.”

Bertrand Traoré, attaquant

“The first leg gave us a lot of confidence. OL is a great team with some very great players. We've come here with confidence but also with our eyes open. We know that it won’t be easy tomorrow. We’ll do everything to qualify. We don’t want to overthink the scenario too much. What’s important to us is qualification.”
