54’. Darder's shot deflected at the last second by Doria.

63’. Tolisso crashed a header off the cross-bar.
87’ : Rafael's flick-on header snatched by Pelé.
90’. Lopes saves OL by beating Njie one-on-one.
In a less-than packed out stadium, to which the OL supporters had not been invited to make the trip, Bruno Genesio stuck with the 3-5-1-1 system. In the first half, OL weren't put in danger and twice went close to opening the scoring: right away when Cornet's shot was saved on the line by Yohann Pelé, and then when Sergi Darder had his goal ruled out.
After the break OL, who were coming off consecutive Ligue 1 defeats, continued to control the game. They had several chances to make the break, with Darder, Rybus and Corentin Tolisso - who created the best chance only to see his header crash off the cross-bar. OM also had a chance to pinch a result in the final stages, but Anthony Lopes pulled out a decisive save in front of Clinton Njie. OL left the Vélodrome with a single point and plenty of regrets given the chances they had missed.
. THE TURNING POINT .
Sergi Darder's strike ruled out
The ball did hit the back of the net... but Anthony Gautier decided that it was no goal. It was just after the half-hour mark when Sergi Darder trumped Yohann Pelé, but OL's joy was short lived as the Spaniard's goal was quickly ruled out for Maxwel Cornet's having been in an off-side position. A severe decision from the referee as, while Cornet came close to being involved, he did not in fact touch the ball nor influence its trajectory. Infuriating.
