Gonalons, Jallet and Lacazette all started in Albania where France went down 1-0 against a very well-organised side. Albania scored the only goal of the game with a superb free-kick. While France carved out some chances, it was never enough. While Lacazette played the full 90 minutes, Gonalons was replaced on the hour mark and Jallet with 20 minutes left to play. Fekir played the entire second half.

Corentin Tolisso and Yassine Benzia have two friendly matches on the cards: vs Korea Republic in Gueugnon on 11 June and Paraguay in Besançon five days later.

Fares Bahlouli won the Toulon Youth Festival with the France U20 side, defeating Morocco 3-1 in the final. Fares played the full 90 minutes.
