Nothing was simple during the third month of the year... points dropped, decisions going the other way, a derby defeat, injuries and when the wins arrived, they came the hard way. But much to their credit: they never through in the towel...

There were 90 minutes left, one last effort before nearly a full week off, to prepare for the next game... something they hadn't had for a while. Les Lyonnais gave it everything against Montpellier, but just couldn't get that little goal that could have proven oh so precious...

The players' recharged their batteries, and were ready to get back into the rhythm of playing twice every week... starting with a match away to Bordeaux - a direct rival. Trailing 1-0, with two minutes left, it looked like back to back defeats. But no! Not only did OL equalise... they went onto to win it in stoppage time with a thrilling finish!!

Les Lyonnais didn't come down from their cloud immediately! A magnificent performance in the first leg against Plzen put one foot (almost) in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Finally, the OL side came back down to earth. Not because of a poor performance on the pitch, but rather, due to some questionable refereeing decisions at home to Monaco, who scored three goals, all of which were off side... Another loss in a game that looked like it was OL's to win...

Repercussions? It may have been tough, but Les Lyonnais booked their place in the quarter-finals in the second leg. They owed it to their first leg lead, but also an astonishing display from their goalkeeper...

March may have been a tough month... but there was a narrow win over Guingamp. Although it came at a cost. Miguel Lopes, Dabo and Bisevac all paid the price with injuries...

In defeat, like in victory, March was a long, difficult month. The final match of the month was the derby at the Stade de Gerland, but it offered little in way of home cheer. It was an unfair 2-1 loss against the regional rival, but also, a rival for the European places...
