Without stating it outright, we could consider that OL are already qualified for the Europa League play-offs... Let's take a look at the numbers...

By winning the first leg in the Czech Republic 4-1, the seven-time French champions already have one, or even two feet in the play-off.

Other clubs have also take big strides towards the next round: FC Torino won 3-0 in Sweden; FC Krasnoden won 5-1 in Hungary; HNK Rijeka also won 5-1 in the Faroe Islands. Club Brugges defeated Bröndby 3-0 at home; IF Elfsborg 4-1 against Norwegian opposition; Astra Guirgiu got up 3-0 over Slovan Liberec; Chakhtior Soligursk won 5-2 against Zulle Waregem; AC Omonia Nicosie beat Metalurg Skopje 3-0.

OL have always qualified after winning the first leg away, except in 1997-98 against Inter Milan (2-1 win at San Siro and 3-1 loss at Gerland). But it's hard to compare Ronaldo's Inter Milan with Mlada Boleslav...

Against Mlada Boleslav, Mohamed Yattara scored his first two European goals.

Juninho is OL's top European goal scorer of all-time with 18 goals… Lacazette and Gonalons both have 5, Fofana has 4…

OL play their 220th European match on Thursday. They count 110 victories, 43 draws and 66 losses.

In the Europa League: 21 matches played; 11 wins, 6 draws and 4 losses (no losses in the group stage); 33 goals scored and 21 against.

Grégory Coupet remains the OL player to have disputed the most European matches with 87. Gonalons is tenth on 40 games. Malbranque, 38; B. Koné, 30; Lacazette, 26…

Christophe Jallet is the 236th OL player to compete for the club in European competition.
