In opening the scoring against Sporting Bastia, Bafétimbi Gomis joined Sonny Anderson in the club's all-time scoring charts…

Bafé now talllies 94 goals for Olympique Lyonnais. 94 goals (63 in L1, 17 in European competition, 8 in the Coupe de France, 5 in the Coupe de la Ligue and 1 in the Trophée des Champions), is the same number as a certain Sonny Anderson netted for OL (71 in L1, 16 in Europe, 3 in Coupe de France, 4 in Coupe de la Ligue). The Brazilian only played 166 matches for OL, while Bafétimbi has played 241 matches. Sonny's goal-per-game ratio was 0.57 goal-per-game, while Bafétimbi is 0.39.

The two strikers are equal fifth in the OL scorers charts, level with Nestor Combin who had scored 3 goals in the Drago Cup. Fleury Di Nallo leads the way with 220 goals (0.45 goal-per-game) ahead of Bernard Lacombe, 148 goals (0.58 goals-per-game), Serge Chiesa, 132 goals (0.25 goals per game) and Juninho, 100. The OL No.18 is out of contract this summer, so if he leaves the club, he has three matches to add to his tally!
