From one derby to another

OL Women take on ASSE in the last-16 of the Coupe de France, this Sunday at (15:00 CET), at La Plaine des jeux de Gerland.

Afte a ten-day international break, the OL Women are back in competitive action on Sunday with a derby in the last-16 of the Coupe de France. Les Lyonnaises, who have already beaten ASSE 5-1 and 4-1 in the league this season, are looking for a hat-trick of wins to keep their Double chances alive.

Patrice Lair will have to see how his 14 internationals are faring having just returned from the Cyprus and Algarve Cup competitions. Amandine Henry and Saki Kumagai, who both picked up ankle injuries while away, will be the big absentees from the derby. However, the OL coach can count on the returning Lotta Schelin and Eugénie Le Sommer. Mélissa Plaza will play with the reserves to get some playing time.
