OL women cruise to big win

The Olympique Lyonnais Women's team recorded a big 5-0 win over Guingamp to record an 11th straight victory in as many league matches...

Les Olympiennes lived up to their favourites billing against a fifth-placed Guingamp side that had already lost to Montpellier, PSG and Juvisy. 3-0 up at half-time courtesy of goals from Tonazzi, Renard and Abily, OL completed the scoring late on with a further strike from Tonazzi  before Schelin added a fifth. It was a big win, but not necessarily a stylish one. With Majri suspended,  Dickenmann slipped back to left-back while Henry occupied the right side of the defence.

Lyon's win was coupled with 1-0 home loss for PSG against Juvisy, OL's next opponents...

OL: Bouhaddi – Henry, Kumagai, Renard (cap), Dickenmann – Bussaglia (Plaza 53'), Necib, Abily (Schelin 62') – Le Sommer (Thomis 46), Tonazzi, Rapinoe. Coach: Lair

GOALS: Tonazzi (15', 81'), Renard (37'), Abily (44'), Schelin (85').
