There was a huge upset at the Stade de Gerland on Thursday when Potsdam qualified for the next round of the Champions League...

Les Lyonnaises found themselves up against an excellent German side who showed great strength in the challenges and remained tactically well-organised throughout. OL couldn't find the right solutions. The winning penalty was a harsh decision. The elimination is a massive disappointment for the French side...

It's a massive disappointment. We had the quality to win this match... It's a shame... We had big ambitions for this competition... They were better than us physically.

Bernd Schröder (Potsdam coach)
"Sensational. To win here... not many teams have done that. We deserve to qualify. We played well both home and away."
