Ligue 1 - Week 24

Will Lille and Paris have recovered from their European efforts? Away to Montpellier and Nice, they will need all of their forces. Lille will be looking for a 14th game in row without defeat and if possible maintain the gap with the chasing pack and PSG to get back on track after two games without success. As for OL, they are well placed and will be looking to build on their win in the derby.
OM have the opportunity of continuing the run at home to Saint-Etienne. The Phoenicians have taken 10 points from a possible 12 since the beginning of the return phase. AJA-Arles-Avignon? Auxerre have no choice in receiving the bottom club, otherwise they risk falling into the relegation zone. Caen-Valenciennes? An encounter between two teams who are in better form recently and have put distance between themselves and the relegation zone, even if on a points level things are still tight for them.
Lens have to build on the point taken away to PSG against a Sochaux side who do not travel well. Lorient are at home to Bordeaux in a mid-table match (31 points). Success would allow one of the two teams to look a little closer at the top half of the table. Finally, Rennes travel to Toulouse. The best defence in the L1 can enable the Stade Rennais to get a result at the Stadium and keep their place on the podium.
