8 OL women on international duty

As of Wednesday and for one week, a number of OL's female players will be on international duty.


Laura Georges, Corine Franco and Louisa Nécib will afront Ireland in Dublin this Thursday the 25th of February at 19h30, in a friendly match before the qualifying rounds for the 2011 World Cup. In March, the "Bleues" of Bruno Bini will be up against Northern Ireland on two occasions in their qualifying group.



Christine Nilsen, Ingvild Stensland, Isabell Herlovsen with Norway and Lotta Schelin with Sweden will take part in the Algarve Cup in Portugal as of Wednesday. This friendly tournament unites each year a number of top level nations. Norway and Sweden will face Iceland and the United States in Group B, and a final match on Wednesday the 3rd of March.



Switzerland and Lara Dickenmann will participate as of Wednesday in the Cyprus Tournament, the lower level equivalent of the Algarve Cup. The Lyon player will have Canada, South Africa and England as opponents before a final match on tWednesday the 3rd of March.
