5 Lyonnais figure in the list of 35 players called up by Raymond Domenech to take on Slovakia in a friendly clash: François Clerc, Anthony Réveillère, Sébastien Squillaci, Jérémy Toulalan and Karim Benzema.
The French A and A’ sides will take on their Slovakian counterparts on Tuesday August 21 (the A’ sides play at 19:00 in Senec) and Wednesday August 22 2007 (the A teams play at 21:00 in Trnava).
While Clerc, Réveillère, Squillaci and Toulalan are regulars in Raymond Domenech’s squads, Anthony Réveillère rejoins the national setup after an absence of almost 2 years. The OL right back last wore the blue shirt on November 12 2005 in a friendly against Germany (0-0).

François Clerc has 6 caps, Sébastien Squillaci 11, Jérémy Toulalan 4, Anthony Réveillère 5 and Karim Benzema 2.

Despite the departures of Abidal and Malouda, Olympique Lyonnais remains the most-represented club, ahead of Arsenal, Marseille, Barcelona and Chelsea, all of which have 3 players in the France squad.

Only one player in the announced squad has been called up for the first time: Sochaux’s Teddy Richert.
