Masculins / Tignes - Day 4

Rafting afternoon

This afternoon, the sun finally came out again as the Olympiens took off for Bourg Saint-Maurice and a rafting session.
Juninho, Wiltord and Keita stayed at the hotel for various reasons. Jérémy Berthod went to Aix-les-Bains for a medical ahead of his transfer to Monaco and Rémy Riou rejoined the OL squad. So there were 24 of them in all, staff included, taking up oars and rafting the river in high spirits. “I’ve always been into this,” said Alain Perrin, obviously at ease with the paddle. The manager really enjoyed the enjoyment and fraternity the squad showed in the hour-long rafting session.
In the evening, fatigue really kicked in. “The accumulation of the work we’ve been doing and the very cold water wore us out,” said Hatem Ben Arfa as he staggered off to bed.

Tomorrow morning, Les Gones will be up around 07:00 for a run around the lake. They’ll do some ball work in the afternoon with a view to preparing for the friendly match against Lille in Albertville on Sunday at 17:45.

At 10:00 tomorrow morning, the players will take the field at Tignes for some positioning work. They will do some ball work at the end of the afternoon in a second training session planned for the pitch at Bourg Saint-Maurice.
