Four Lyonnais at Old Trafford

To celebrate the anniversary of the Treaty of Rome and the 50th anniversary of Manchester United’s first participation in the European Cup, the Mancunian club will host an international XI for a friendly match at Old Trafford.
Four Lyonnais will make the trip to Old Trafford to represent the European XI. Grégory Coupet, Eric Abidal, Florent Malouda and Kim Källström are part of the team managed by World Cup-winning coach Marcello Lippi. Alongside them will be Champions League champions Puyol and Ronaldinho; world champions Maldini, Gattuso, Pirlo, Materazzi… the indomitable Steven Gerrard… A galaxy of stars on the pitch at Old Trafford in front of UEFA president Michel Platini and England legend Bobby Charlton.

Kick off will be at 20:45, live on Eurosport.
