Real has arrived in Lyon

There were crowds at the Lyon – Saint-Exupéry airport to welcome the Real Madrid players for the second time in 12 months. More than a hundred fans were on hand to catch a glimpse of Djila Diarra and his new teammates.
With a little over a half-hour delay from their estimated time of arrival, Ramon Calderon exited from Terminal 2, just a few metres ahead of Fabio Cannavaro and Roberto Carlos. All smiles, the Italy captain reserved a special hello for an Italy fan draped in the national colours.

"Don't forget Lyon, Djila" cried the Lyon fans and the Malian, clearly uncomfortable by his return to Lyon was quickly into the team bus.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy, in the company of a very relaxed Antonio Cassano seemed delighted to back in the city where he scored a double during his last visit.

David Beckham was last out and stopped to sign plenty of autographs before jumping on the bus which took the team to its hotel.

Fabio Capello's side have a press conference at the Stade Gerland at 18:30 before training at 19:00.
